A good day

The kids both woke with fevers early this morning so I decided I would stay home from work with them. They were supposed to go to our nanny's house for a long day playing with her son. But I didn't think that would be good idea since they were sick. I need them to get better fast since we have friends coming to town and are planning to go to Disneyland Friday. (And I didn't mind having a day at home to clean more!) Both kids were actually feeling pretty ok today - runny/stuffy noses but no fever until Jackson got a slight one later this afternoon. Considering that we spent the entire day inside - didn't leave the house once until after dinner - we had a great day. This morning we organized the toy room and made sure all the toys were in their correct places. It drives me nuts when pieces to toys are misplaced! After nap we made yummy smoothies. The kids were pretty mellow - they watched a lot of TV but also played quite a bit. And I got a lot done - washed floors, vacuumed, put junk away, and did a ton of laundry!
