10 Random Things for a Friday

I'm stealing this idea from Harmony in Motion. While this blog is supposed to be about Grunty and Chubbs, I'm their mom and sometimes I want life to be about ME! (Although, probably the majority of my random things will be about them anyway! Life is about them for the most part!)

1. I wonder if the blocks they chew on all the time are safe? I can't find anything online that says so. But my sister in law got them special from a company that I think is known for having safe toys. So the babies should be fine chewing on them... as long as they don't choke on them. It's kinda scary to look at them and see a whole round block in their mouths! They love the blocks tho!
2. We have a super busy weekend! This afternoon Sea World. Tonight Pete over for dinner. Tomorrow the babies' NICU reunion party. Sunday we're going to Quail Botanical Gardens with some friends we haven't seen in a while, and then maybe to dinner with them.
3. Although we should not be spending money on anything, we are. We can't help ourselves.
4. Speaking of, I tried on a few outfits last night and it looks like I'm going to need a new dress for the wedding we're going to on Oct 3. Nothing fits right anymore! I'll go to Ross where I can get a dress for $20. But then what about a cute pair of shoes...
5. I need to get myself to Trader Joe's one of these nights for some groceries.
6. We get our box of organic veggies today! I still have an eggplant and some old kale in the fridge from our last box from four weeks ago. The kale for sure is too old to eat. Not sure about the eggplant.
7. It's 83 degrees here. Been a hot few weeks. Our electric bill was high because we've been making comfort a priority.
8. Tony (my bestest cat) (even though I love all our pets equally!) is having trouble breathing. I tried Zyrtec and he's not better. Now we're trying steriods.
9. I wear the same pair of shoes to work EVERY DAY. They're comfy.
10. I can't decide if I want to spend the time and effort making a dr appt for my chapped, peeling lips. I'm talking about CHAPPED lips. They even crack sometimes. They've been this way since I was pregnant. I have no idea why and no brand or amount of lip balm will help...

Well, that was kind of fun. It was almost theraputic. Like one of those tests where someone says a word and you say the first thing that comes to mind... So, am I crazy?
