Tuesday evening

I'm sure I could/should be doing something else but... why? The computer has such a strong pull. I'm not sure what I have to say so I'll just give some updates on the little ones.
- We *think* they're saying some words. Both seem to say doggie, kitty and daddy. We think we've heard Jackson say ball and bye bye. And I think Veronica says hi. They also seem to know their names now, and maybe each others.
- They are starting to interact some. Jackson does his high-pitched screeching sometimes and the other day they were doing it back and forth. Watch your eardrums around here! Jackson also still knocks Veronica over. He really attacks her - he tries to use her to pull up on, or he'll bite her. She cries over it, I think, whether it really hurts or not!
- Both are standing with very little help. Both are walking while holding an adults two hands. Especially right before bed all Veronica wants to do is walk. If you sit her down, she gets pissed. :-)
- Veronica's crawling is slowly but surely getting better.
- They've had some NASTY poop lately. Stinky (gag-worthy), soft and usually leaking out the back and/or sides of the diaper! Can I say it again - NASTY!!! I've been giving them cow's milk and yogurt so I'm wondering if one of those things is causing the problem. I'm stopping the yogurt and increasing the milk (because we're transitioning) so we'll see if that changes anything. It's been like this for a week. The nurse said not to worry unless it gets really watery.
- I have the day off tomorrow and we're going to the YMCA. I'm going to do a "total body workout" class while they hang in the "kid's place." They do ok there until I come to pick them up. Then they cry. I don't see other kids doing that... it's weird. Maybe they just realized I was gone and they missed me??
- I love doing this blog and keeping an electronic baby book. But I should spend some time on their scrapbooks and paper baby books sometime.
- We're getting excited and prepared for our trip to the midwest in just over a week! Can't remember if I've mentioned it here. We're flying to Minneapolis, getting a ride to Gary, South Dakota to visit Dick's family, driving to Chicago for a few nights to visit friends and go to a wedding, then driving to Michigan to visit my family, then flying back to San Diego. We'll be gone two weeks! it should be quite an adventure!

Alright, well here are a few photos of the babies standing. I've been taking less photos for some reason lately. We're going to the beach, though, this weekend so we'll have to get some there!
