Put pressure on me!
After working, taking care of babies, working out every night after putting them to bed, then eating dinner, at 8 pm we just haven't felt like putting up the tree!! I bet before we had kids we didn't put the tree up more than two years of seven. But now that we have kids... we really need to. We have an artificial tree that's a real pain to put up. It's the old fashioned kind with all the branches on their own pipe that you have to fit into one of the thousand holes on the stem. Ick. Then you have to do the lights and ornaments. Does anyone else not enjoy this? I know I'm supposed to enjoy it but... Then there's the issue of where to put the dang thing in this tiny house and how to keep the kids off it. I sound like scrooge.

It was a lot easier last year huh? It's like shooting ducks!! I've tried to get a picture of our two little ones together and it's neigh on impossible. About the tree... we have what you have and every year we look for another tree and we can't find one as nicely shaped as ours. The receipt on the box says we bought in in 1991. We've definitely gotten our use out of it and it still looks good, but it sure does lose a lot of needles lol.
