Our nanny is going to Mexico for four weeks this summer which leaves us without childcare. What better time to skip town, right? Jackson, Veronica and I will be heading to Michigan for a week and a half from July 24 - Aug 4. Daddy can't go because he just started his new job. He'll be really sad without us... Will miss him a lot too. But Jackson and Veronica will enjoy visiting with their grandmama, Aunt Debbie, cousins and friends. We're pretty sure Christopher and the twins will have a blast together!
The day after we return, Aug 5, grandma and grandpa Rol arrive! They're staying for almost two weeks to help care for the kids while Dick and I work. And they'll also be helping us completely redo the bathroom! It will be a working vacation but there will also be lots of playing and laughing I'm sure!
Flying alone with the kids is stressing me out a little... But we got a direct flight at decent times. We'll take lots of toys and snacks. And we'll ask for help if we need it. Daddy will get a gate pass to help us through security. Fun stuff!

ReplyDeleteYour kids are so well behaved that you shouldn't have any problems on the plane. Hope we get to see you when you're in town. We'll be on vacation from the 21st to the 26th. Hopefully, if you set anything up it won't be at that time. I have never seen Jackson in person. He was sick the last time you were in town.
