Now that the house is completely remodeled and we've done everything we wanted to it, it's time to leave! The house hit the market yesterday afternoon. This morning we had an open house for realtors called the "broker's caravan." Twenty-eight people came through! Now, I sit by the phone and wait for calls from realtors who want to show it to their clients. I hope we get some bites!
Sunday Dick and I will head out to the streets to look at 8-10 houses to possibly buy. We have a buyer's agent who sounds really good (so far). She seems to know what we want and she's previewing properties for us this week so we don't waste any time Sunday. :-) Hopefully, if all goes well, we'll get a great offer on this house just as we find another house we love... We'll see!

ReplyDeletegood luck. We had over 30 people come through in 30 days and sold it within 30 days back in 1980 lol. It was really hard to keep the house ready to show at all times with a 7 and 3 year old. Going now to see your listing. :) Isn't it funny how you get the house the way you want it and then you sell it! What's wrong with this picture?
