I had just put lunch on the table, including some raw veggies and dip, when my realtor came to the door. So I headed outside to talk to her for a minute. When I came back in the house, Dick had the kids eating raw broccoli! I've never been able to get them to eat raw broccoli for me (or cooked broccoli for that matter)! Whatever daddy eats is somehow cool... and he has this way of playing with them and getting them to eat. Yay!
After lunch we put them down for naps, and they did what they've been doing a fair bit lately - making a loud, playful ruckus when they should be sleeping. As soon as they got wild, daddy went in their room and sternly set them straight! They were quiet and fell asleep soon after. When I try this - no deal - they just start right up again after I leave the room!
Veronica is dressing herself lately! (And notice - she has two lovies! She found the alternate...she was SO happy to have two. She talked about it for HOURS! The next day, strangely,
she just had one again. But she didn't seem to notice.)

They respond differently to Daddy because they're really not sure to know what to expect from him. They know how you react to everything.... You think that might be it?
