Two days after grandmama left I got a call from my nanny that she'll need the next three weeks off to address her daughter's medical needs. So... grandma is going to come back to help watch the kids and visit with us again! This week we have an alternate nanny (my nanny's sister) but next week and the week after, grandmama will be here with the kids while I work! Yay!
Since I work part time, we'll still have plenty of time to play all together. :-)

You're so lucky that you Mom can come. Our Son's nanny just quit... just like that. The kids are now adjusting to daycare and loving it. Biggest adjustment is the germ factor and sooner or later they have to address it. It's called building their immune system lol. Glad your little ones don't have to do it yet :)

ReplyDeleteI think finding someone/someplace/something to watch your kids is the worst part of having them! It's either dealing with that person's illnesses, family issues, etc. or having to deal with your own kids getting sick from all the germs at school/daycare. Our nanny did just quit--totally unexpectedly. Thank goodness I can work part-time if I need to and take days off since I'm the boss. I don't know how two parents can work full time, not have flexibility and have kids all at the same time!!!! Hope you guys have more fun with grandmama...I'm sure you will!!!!
