A good day

Well, yesterday was a sad day as we had to drive grandma to the airport and say goodbye for now. We didn't do much for the rest of the day yesterday... it was lazy. The kids took a good nap because grandma and I tired them out all week!

Today was a good day. We started by making blue and purple pancakes with sprinkles. Then Jackson and I had "alone time" and took a ride around Lake Miramar. Jackson was in the bike trailer, and mommy rode almost seven miles including up a few small hills with an extra 35 pounds behind me! We also stopped and climbed around on some rocks for a while. Jackson did a great job keeping his footing on the rocks!

After that we had lunch and the kids took another good nap. Daddy worked on our new floors. Then we ran a few errands (all of us) and got pizza for lunch. :-)

Now it's back to our normal routine for a while.

(By the way, Grandma, Veronica and I had alone time last weekend - we went shopping and to dinner. We didn't have a chance to have alone time with Jackson and grandma and mommy. Next time we will.)
