YES! Progress on the house!

A whole lot of stuff happened on the house this weekend. :-) Dick is 99% done with the floors, so we moved all our furniture into the family room finally. We put a giant area rug on top of our new floors (I know, but there are plenty of areas where we can still see it!), then we moved our couch, chair, tv, etc. into the family room. We now have a cozy family room adjacent to the kitchen where we can all hang out (and I can keep an eye on the kids better while I cook).

Then... a week ago I happened to stop into a model home furniture liquidation store, and saw a living room set I thought we might like. And the place was having a "going out of business sale" - everything 40% off. So Dick checked out the set on Saturday, we bought it, and it was delivered Sunday! So now we have a HUGE, new furniture set in our living room: couch, loveseat, overstuffed chair, coffee table and end table. Yay! I even bought the decorative pillows that were on display with the set. (Altho, now that I think of it, I should sanitize those and put them in isolation for a while.)
