Holy cow, where does the time go? I can't believe these two are 3.5 months old already! Six weeks adjusted (past their due date).
Here's a quick update:
Jackson is about 12 lbs and Veronica is about 9 lbs. They are both sleeping for up to 6-7 hours in a row at night. We are starting to use some of the hints and techniques in Good Night Sleep Tight to help the babies get good sleep and be able to fall asleep on their own without needed mommy and daddy (and binky and vibration and music and bottle, etc!)
Both babies are starting to smile! Veronica especially likes to smile at daddy when he gets home from work!
Both babies like to play in the activity mat. They watch the hanging toys and even manage to bat them around some - either intentionally or accidentally.
They have bottles every three hours during the day and once at night.
We love our twins playgroup because these ladies know what I'm going through and I get to see what's ahead for us!
We also love cloth diapering!
Grandma and grandpa Rol were here for a week and we all had a great time. I'll post some family photos in another post later!
I love the smiling picture of Veronica. I can't believe how much she now looks like Jackson. What a cutie. And sleeping 6 - 7 hours...consider yourself VERY lucky! It's interesting to see how little girls get their Daddies attention so quickly, it must be a natural instinct lol. Maggie gets so excited when Papa comes in and I tell Becki "That's exactly how excited you were to see him every night too.".
