He cried for a total of about 5 seconds... but he started to get a little bump. Dick was out of town and I had a sitter on the way because I had organized a mom's night out for the twin's club. I started to have a "jenivision" (like a "day-mare," Jennifer style) of me out having a margarita with friends while Jackson had a concussion and was throwing up, passed out, [insert horrible thing here]... So I figured just to be safe I had better call the nurse connection. And of course the nurse connection told me - just to be safe - that they always recommend any baby under 1 year old with "head trauma" be seen at the after-hours clinic.
So... when the babysitter arrived, I left her with Veronica while Jackson and I went to get him checked out. He had no other symptoms than a small bump. He was acting totally normal. And the dr confirmed that he was just fine!
So, I came home, dropped him off with the sitter and headed out to mom's night out!
Sadly, I have the incident on video since I was doing that instead of catching him when he fell! It's horrible to watch and I think I'll probably delete it...
A few days late but...
Happy Earth Day!
aw, mama. i'd delete that vid, too. so glad that jackson's fine. ((hug))
ReplyDeleteI love the tie dyed outfits. Too cute. We've discovered that for Maggie to have a good fall it requires at least 4 or 5 of us just standing there watching her. lol I know it's not funny, we'll all be about an arm length away and there she goes. I'm glad he's fine and I'm sure it won't be the last.
ReplyDeleteThanks for ratting me out, mom! It only took three of us watching for Maggie to just about rip her nose off :(
ReplyDeleteOh! Glad he's okay :)
