We have some really cool parks - two on the nearby lake. The kids and I have gone to "Lake View Park" a lot the last few weeks. We had some fun there last Friday playing in the mud:

Playing in the mud
Our new neighborhood has lots of outdoor opportunities! The neighborhood we live in is called "Scripps Ranch." (San Diego is divided into neighborhoods.) The motto for our neighborhood is "Country Living." We used to laugh about that but we realize living here that there really are a lot of outdoor features - open space, parks, lakes, etc. Behind our house is a small canyon with a little trail and even a log swing!
