Grandma and Grandpa's visit!

Dick's parents came to visit from South Dakota! They stayed for almost a week, and we all had a very nice time. The babies took to them right away again. When they woke from naps (babies, not grandma and grandpa!) they got excited when they first saw grandma and grandpa again!

Grandma and grandpa babysat Friday night while Dick and I had a date night. We went out to a relaxing sushi dinner and saw the musical Wicked - the backstory of the witches from the Wizard of Oz. We had a great time! It was fun to remember what life was like before we had babies. I'm sure over the years we'll get more of our former life back as the kids become more independent. In the meantime, we're enjoying the babyhood as well!

We spent a lot of the visit around the house enjoying the grandkids! We're still very tied to home because of all the feedings and naps! But we did manage to go to our neighborhood park one day. And we got some family photos taken at Balboa Park. And of course, we had a birthday party while grandma and grandpa were here. I'll post about that next...

Unfortunately, Dick and I didn't get a lot of photos of grandma and grandpa with the babies while they were here. But grandma did and she'll be getting those to me as soon as she gets them so I can post more. :-)
