It's been a busy, off week. My dad had surgery and he's doing fine. That's a relief except, of course, we're all worried about his quality of life once he's home. I've managed to find some other things to worry/fret about as well so I've just been kinda down and emotional in general.
But the babies are doing great. Veronica is starting to crawl! Ok, she's not really crawling yet but she's getting ready. She's getting on her hands and knees and rocking a little. And she's pushing herself backwards. She really wants to move. I see her looking longingly at things across the room! And she's been sleeping on her tummy.
Jackson is still moving all over the place. He's decided to get picky about his food. I guess he's always been a little finicky. He'll eat most things if I spoon-feed him while he plays with a spoon. But he's not excited about self-feeding unless it's chicken, tofu or cheerios! Or cheese. They both LOVE shredded cheddar cheese (so do I!)
The babies will be one in less than a week. I have no idea where the time went . Dick's mom and dad will be here and we're going to have a small party. We have some work to do to prepare. The day after their party we're getting their one year photos in Balboa Park - with grandma and grandpa.
Here are a few photos:

Oh Jennifer! They are growing up so fast! I think Veronica might just take off walking and skip the crawling lol. The beet picture is adorable. Wanna see what they'll be doing in a year? lol Go see the video they just posted at mrandmrsbayley.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI hope your Dad is doing well as well as the rest of your clan. I'm passing you an award, I realize you may not pass it on - I don't care, but you certainly fit the parameters!!
ReplyDeleteOne already! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteAnd the cheerios? Don't stop for a long time. Don't let them find dad's Apple Jacks...they're much better, according to Maggie ;)
