Thank goodness I'm not a single mom of two year old twins! I've spent the past three days home with the kids, alone, and it's been tiring! The kids have been really good for the most part. But it's just tiring taking care of them: feeding them three meals and two snacks a day, changing two diapers 5-6 times per day, brushing teeth, putting away toys, reading books, running to Costco, running to gymnastics, cooking, doing dishes, etc, etc. They need constant attention. They're darling and sweet and cute tho. During naps and after they go to bed, I get to do more dishes, feed the pets, water the garden, take out the trash, clean, catch up on email, catch up on mail, exercise, shower, etc, etc! And Friday and tonight we had friends over - with no Dick! He has a big proposal due tomorrow so he has literally worked past midnight the past two nights.
I did have a few hours to go to the Twin's Club garage sale Saturday morning. It was great. I got a bunch of clothes, books and toys that the kids got really excited about! They just love STUFF now - Dora stuff, Lightning McQueen stuff, Elmo stuff, etc. I hope I'm not getting them too excited about "stuff!" It brings me joy tho to see them get excited about a new dump truck or a shirt with Dora the Explorer on it. It brings them joy too. And they do NEED clothes. And books and toys are learning tools. Right!? :-)

they are getting so big. remember when you were wondering when she would get hair? lol. no wondering now. she is gorgeous and has beautiful hair.
