The only lasting negative effect from the day is my sunburn. :-( Thankfully, I take better care of the kids than I do myself! I didn't think I was burning... :-( But, a few hours later it became painfully clear. STUPID!

Beach day
I've been wanting to take the kids to the beach since we went there when my mom was in town. It's been hot so we decided to go this morning. We had a great time! The kids had fun playing in the sand. And I was surprised but they actually DID want to touch the water. They were in up to at least their knees. One wave went as high as their thighs and knocked Veronica right over! We dug holes, drove cars in the sand, buried our feet in the sand and had a great time!!

glad they love the water.... if you're going to live in CA they better. There's so much to do at the beach glad you found the time to go there.
