Help spreading woodchips

Jackson and Veronica are SO DARN funny! Yesterday Dick brought six yards of woodchips home to be spread in our newly edged yard. He and a friend were using a wheelbarrow to cart the woodchips to different parts of the yard. Veronica and Jackson really wanted to help! They were really cute checking out the trailer, the wheelbarrow and the pitchfork!

This morning I volunteered and shopped at a local, giant "swap meet" which is actually over a hundred families selling used baby/child stuff. I happened to see someone selling two little plastic kid wheelbarrows. I had to buy them, of course! (They were $1 each.) I brought them home and this afternoon Jackson and Veronica literally helped cart woodchips to the planting beds for 30-45 minutes. Very sweet. We didn't get any photos of the kids with the wheelbarrows but here are a few of them yesterday checking things out.
