Mommy is a "Recycling Specialist." Yes, that's actually my official position at work. Ever since high school I've been interested in waste management.
Jackson and Veronica have been making me very proud lately because they know the difference between the trash and recycling containers in the kitchen! They don't know what goes in which bin yet... but they LOVE to help me by putting trash or recycling away. If there's trash around, they'll grab it and tell me they're going to take it to the "can." If I tell them it's recycling, they know right where to go. Likewise for trash.
They also know the difference between the bins that go to the curb. The blue one is recycling, the black one is trash and the round ones are composting! Of course they love to watch the trash and recycling trucks empty our bins. And when at the park, they pick up trash and throw it away!

children definitely learn what they live. Good example... keep it up... as if anyone could stop you. :) btw your Dad's birthday is this weekend.
