Things are really starting to move fast on our home sale... we met with two realtors this week who've given us ideas for a listing price - one quite a bit higher than the other. It's up to us in the end to choose our listing price, of course.
Either way, we're planning to list the house the first week in November! So we have two weekends to get ready! We filled one entire Big Box (pod) and now have another empty one in the driveway because we weren't able to get it all in the first one! We're trying to make the rooms and storage areas look spacious. :-)
We also have a few odds and ends of repairs to do, some more yard work, and a lot of straightening/cleaning.
The scary part is, both realtors told us the likeliest time our house will sell is right after it goes on the market (if it's priced right). Yikes!! We don't have any idea what house we'll be buying yet! They tell you no buyers will accept an offer until we AT LEAST have an offer on our house. So the timing may not be right to move from one house to the next, and we might have to rent for a while. :-( That would be a nightmare! So as soon as our house is listed, we have to get to work looking at houses to buy. We have a lot of criteria and 5 or 6 areas that we're considering. We've been doing a lot of online looking!
Unfortunately, as much work as we have to do, I got myself a nasty little cold! I hope I got it from the kids who were a bit sick a week or so ago. I'm hoping this is the case instead of that I'm going to give them this cold. :-( I don't want them sick!

talk about a lot of stress.... and what weakens the immune system most... STRESS!! Hang in there. This is a lot to process. I think I know why we haven't moved in over 30 years.
