We went to a cool event yesterday called 'Touch a Truck!" It's a charity event that raises money to fight childhood cancer. It's held by "Max's Ring of Fire" in honor of Max, a San Diego boy who died after a long fight with cancer. We told the kids we were going to a "truck party!"
They have all kinds of trucks parked in a parking lot, and the kids can climb in them, honk the horns, and check them out up close! They had a semi truck, schools bus, police cars, fire engines, a recycling truck, army vehicles, race cars, dune buggies, motorcycles, a back hoe, etc., etc., etc.! It was really cool!
Both kids like trucks (and trains for that matter) but Jackson was especially brave about climbing in the vehicles and honking horns! We all got a little sunburned, but had a great time!

how cute is that!!?? Looks like a really fun event with a great recipient. Maggie and now Olivia are kind of put off by our train... they don't like the whistle :(. Maybe when Jackson is in town again he can show them there is nothing to be afraid of. They won't believe us lol
