We have tried pretty unsuccessfully since the kids were about six months old to spend time with them alone - one parent with one child. It's supposed to be a good way to get closer and get to know each child individually.
Well, we've been better about it lately. Yesterday, Jackson and I went shopping together while daddy and Veronica went to the park. (I know, sounds like Jackson got gypped but he didn't mind at all!)
Jackson and I went to Michael's to get some craft supplies and Christmas decorations. Then we went to Sprouts for food. In both stores Jackson wanted to walk and he helped me push the cart. He did a great job and we really had a nice time. :-) He was a really good boy and really seemed to be at his best. I think he appreciated having me all to himself.
On the way home it was dark and Jackson told me he was going to take a nap on the way home. We were driving and I wanted to show him something so I said, "Little buddy, are you awake?" And he said, "No, I'm sleeping." :-)
Gotta keep making an effort to do this... it's good for all of us!

That is very cool and make me wonder, that sure has to be good for any family, twins or not. :) Thanks for sharing, makes me ponder.
