How to celebrate New Year's Eve like an old married couple

1. Started making blueberry ice cream and realized I forgot to put the ice cream maker canister in the freezer. Blended some vanilla ice cream with blueberries instead. (Kids were happy with any ice cream!)
2. Daddy pulled carpet pad up in dining room.
3. Showered and put on my jammies at 7:30 pm.
4. Wished my mom and sister happy new years (on eastern time).
5. Cut my nails on the couch while watching Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve.
6. Argued with daddy over watching Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve.
7. Talked about the best part of 2011 - moving to our new house (maybe - we didn't pursue any further options after coming up with that one.)
9. Talked about how we're happy to have each other as our best friend. (Awwww....) :-)
10. Left messages for Dick's family (on central time).
11. Put on a movie around 10/10:30.
12. Played Word Feud on our cell phones (smartphone scrabble app. Yes, we played with each other on our phones while sitting next to each other on the couch).
13. Fell asleep on the couch.
14. Woke up about 11:55 pm.
15. Got ready for bed.
16. Kissed daddy at 12:00 and said goodnight!
