Gifts under the tree (a new toybox is in the foreground - we'll need it!)
They opened a few gifts tonight while Skyping with grandma and grandpa and Aunt Mary, Uncle Darren and RJ. As soon as they opened some videos they wanted to watch them! It'll be interesting to see what they do tomorrow - if they will want to open all their gifts one after another or if they'll want to stop and play with things.
We had previously talked about what we would leave out for Santa and the reindeer to snack on tonight. Dick and I had made some strategic suggestions... so here's what we're leaving out:
Some pizza and beer for Santa, carrots and milk for the reindeer!
You'll have to tell us how it turned out. Our girls took several hours to open gifts because there was so much playing in between each one!
ReplyDeleteYeah... J and V definitely wanted to play between gifts. But we convinced them to open all the gifts first. Then, all they wanted to do was open, and wanted to open our gifts too!

ReplyDeleteah, excuse me, but what about drinking and driving..... Santa has a lot of deliveries to make!!! lol Wouldn't want to be at the end of his delivery list lol
