$105 lovey!

In case you don't know, a lovey is a "transitional object," usually a blankie or stuffed animal, that babies attach to for comfort when mommy and daddy aren't around. It can be very helpful for nighttime. Ours have lovies that are a cross between a blankie and a stuffed animal. They're like heads with long skirts! Both of them rub them on their faces and play with them when they fall asleep. Veronica especially likes the left ear on hers! It's all crunchy and worn from being eating and rubbed to death!

That's one of the reasons many moms recommend buying extra lovies. (That and in case you lose one - or two!) Many moms even go so far as advising you to start interchanging the extra lovies now so they will wear at the same pace and baby won't know if one disappears and you replace it with a new one!

So... I did a search on amazon to find replacements for "Mr. Monkey" and "Luli." Mr. Monkey is no problem, he's $20 on amazon. Luli, however, can be found for $105!!!!!!! I guess they're not made anymore. And I suppose there may be other moms out there looking for replacements???

Anyhoo... if you ever see little Luli someplace (Carter's outlet store?) please buy her! I'll pay you double what you pay for her (unless it's over $20! :-) )

Time to put up baby gates. Jackson is everywhere you don't want him to be! Here he is with the cat food bowls (empty). At least it wasn't the litter box!
