Jackson and Veronica have officially started fighting over toys. They very often will play tug of war with a toy... they especially like to do this with their stacking rings (a favorite of them both) and their favorite book. In just the last few days they've started getting mad at each other when the other is playing with their new truck. If one presses the buttons that make noise and light up, the other will "yell" at him/her! They have these little, tiny mini fits about it. It's cute. But also scary.
I think it's time for me to get some parenting/discipline/happy toddler books! I have "Happiest Toddler on the Block" on hold at the library. :-) And Monday Dick and I are attending a talk called, "Positive discipline and self-esteem." We also have a certificate for the parenting course, "Redirecting children's behavior." Gotta be prepared!

sounds like you're as prepared as you can be. It's funny how they end up working it out which is what they have to do - learn to get along in this big beautiful world. Good luck lol

lol - look at those cute faces - fighting? i can't believe it... well, actually after 10 years of teaching and good ole human natures takes its course... good thing they have such wonderful parents to guide them!!
