Today, for the first time, I left the babies at the daycare at the YMCA. I have been afraid to do this in the past because a) I didn't want to leave them with strangers in a strange place, and b) I didn't want them to get germs! But I decided it was time to start doing this regularly so they will not be afraid to go there. I wasn't really surprised that I was the only one crying when I left them! It was kind of embarrassing but, hey, I love my kids! I can maybe be a little TOO empathetic sometimes... but they weren't upset at all! I was able to focus on my workout and I didn't go back and check on them. When I picked them up they were both in a swing with binkies. The gals there said Jackson cried a little a few times - but not too bad. They were at the daycare during lunchtime (missed lunch) and I picked them up when they were due for a nap. So it's understandable they were a little cranky!
I should probably do this a few times a week so they'll get used to it. But, I'm going easy on myself and will try to do it once/week for now. Hopefully, future trips will go as well as today.

That's a great move in the right direction.. I love their pictures. They are adorable. I love Veronica in her little skirt ;)
