6 - wake up, shower, feed pets, putz around the house, get kids dressed, feed them breakfast
8:30 - leave the house for a 9:00 and 10:00 appt to tour preschools
10:45 - go to Michael's Arts and Crafts to get crafting supplies for making Valentine's Day cards. Go to Home Goods to check out wall hangings, shelves and accessories
12:00 - Get home, play with kids some, feed them lunch, put them down for nap, deal with them not napping (put V in my bed)
2 - Watch sitcoms while going through mail, going through email, organizing preschool data, cleaning up the kitchen, etc.
4 - Wake kids, get them a snack, take care of more business while they watch 30 min of tv
4:30 - Make Valentine's Day cards with the kids
5:15 - start making dinner while kids play all around me!
6 - eat dinner, clean up after dinner, feed pets, do a load of laundry
7:30 - get kids ready for bed
8 - put kids down, warn them 2-3 times to be quiet!
9 - talk to grandma Rol, write blog post, check email, etc.
There is a lot more in there, small stuff... it feels tiring but it's also fun. And we made some rockin' Valentine's Day cards!!

ReplyDeleteIt's tiring but great! I see now that I didn't mention that I was alone on my errands. Our nanny came over to watch the kids so I could visit the preschools alone (better to concentrate that way!)
