Feeding them is always a crap shoot. Generally, they're good eaters but you never know what they'll approve or disapprove of at any given meal. And sometimes they eat TONS and sometimes not so much. I'm learning (still in the process) to accept what they do. Veronica is usually more adventurous with food - she'll try anything without any prodding. Jackson usually needs you to feed him the first bite or so or something new before he'll do so willingly on his own.
For some reason during meals hands almost always end up in the hair and all over the face. So there is often dried food in their hair. Or in Jackson's case below, chard on his eyebrow!
They are also starting to want everything they see me eat. So they tried grapefruit this week and thought it was ok. But playing with the peel was much more fun for Veronica. (At least I was eating grapefruit and not jalapenos or Doritos or something! We'll save that battle for another day.)
Happy eating!
