Jackson has been going to bed poorly. He has napped ok. But at 6 pm (bedtime) he has been whooping it up! He doesn't cry but as soon as you lay him down and leave the room he starts whining. Loudly and consistently. Poor little Veronica just falls asleep as usual to the noise.
Last night I tried staying in there with him - still whined. I tried picking him up and putting him down - still whined. I tried leaving - still whined. After about an hour I couldn't take it anymore and got him up and brought him out the living room. I gave him some Tylenol in case he was having teething pain. Tried rocking him - didn't work. Gave him a bottle and rocked him - didn't work. I finally put him back to bed and he whined for about five minutes and then fell asleep. So... may have been teething, may have been hungry, maybe just not tired? Or maybe his brain was too busy to let him sleep thinking about all the wonderful crawling he's been doing and all the great things he needs to explore!
Who knows. But I'm dreading 6 pm tonight... :-(

How many binkies does a girl need?
The reason we put the crib mattresses all the way down... (after the photo was taken)
oh yeah, he is so out of that crib. Love her little smile. Hope Jackson decides he needs sleep - and - Veronica doesn't go into it when he leaves it.
