Let's see... what's up in our lives?
We're having fun. Enjoying each other. The babies bring such joy and laughter! Sometimes I just laugh and laugh at them (with them!) And sometimes I enjoy them so much, or enjoy watching them with their daddy so much, that it brings tears to my eyes...
Here's a funny story about Veronica from yesterday. I was sitting on the couch with her standing on my lap, facing me. She's been going for my glasses a lot lately. This time, instead of grabbing them, she went for them with her mouth. I saw her mouth coming toward my eye so instinctually, I closed my eyes. Then I remembered that there were glasses between her mouth and my eye so I opened them - only to see her lips and tongue through the glass, licking and sucking on my glasses! It was pretty funny. I laughed out loud for quite a while.
It's funny because the babies don't know what to think when I laugh...
Jackson did a lot of laughing today at daddy. When the babies are tired they get a little giddy. And daddy gets home right before bed, when they're tired. So between being excited at seeing daddy (which they are SO excited) and being giddy from being overtired, they laugh and screech and have a grand ol' time - right before bed! It's fun! He laughs til he rolls over lol. Too funny. Maggie goes for my glasses sometimes. Sometimes I let her get them (she looks real funny in them when they are cock eyed on her) sometimes I don't and she just moves on to something else. Once in the car I was sitting in the back seat with her and she ended up with my glasses and you could see the little wheels turning "hmm, think I can have the watch too"? I had to laugh as I gave her my watch and she was sitting there so cool and proud of herself. LOL they are truly so much fun.
