Random baby stuff

- In their highchairs, Jackson and Veronica have been reaching their hands out and touching each other's hands.
- They've also been smiling and laughing at each other much more often.
- Veronica is clapping!
- Jackson is still just beginning his crawling adventures - but the main 3 or 4 times I've seen it, it's been crawling to get the cell phone or computer.
- They had almost all finger food for dinner tonight - steamed green beans, diced fresh mozzarella, cantalope slices, pureed sweet potatoes (no wonder Veronica didn't want all of her bedtime bottle - she was stuffed!)
- Wednesday night they wouldn't fall asleep! It took me 2 hours of going from one to the other, holding them because they were crying in the crib. Thursday night it took 1 hour... Friday night and every bedtime and naptime since, they're back to their old selves... lay them down awake, walk out, never hear from them again until morning (or end of nap).
- Morning naps have gotten longer. Even V is sleeping for 1.5 hours. Afternoon nap has gotten shorter - usually only 45 min!
- Their skin is SO SOFT!
- They like to be held but don't do a lot of cuddling. :-( They're too busy checking things out!
- Veronica does lay her head down on your chest, though, sometimes, when you're holding her. Is she saying "I love you, mommmy?" Or is her neck tired? ;-)
- When the babies go to bed, I look at their pictures on the computer.
- Dick is a great daddy. He loves to play with the babies, tickle them and make them laugh. He also likes to just hold them and love them.
- At a party yesterday, they heard their first mariachi band. Veronica loved it! She was smiling, and we were dancing together.
- Everyone at the party was commenting on how they were such good babies. My sister thought the same thing. And so do Dick and I. We're so lucky!
